Basic Peach Crisp Recipe

This recipe makes 6 servings. 

Ingredients

Directions 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Blanch the peaches in boiling water to loosen their skins. Peel and slice into 3/4 inch pieces.
  3. Combine the flour, sugar, granola, spices, and salt in a bowl. Then mix in butter with a pastry blender or your hands until mixture forms small clumps.
  4. Arrange peaches in a lightly buttered 13- by 9-inch baking dish. Toss peaches with juice and cover with crumbly topping.
  5. Bake in middle of oven until topping is golden and peaches are tender, 35 to 40 minutes.
  6. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
